 Waiver

 I affirm my dog is in good health, is current on all required vaccinations (DHLPP, rabies, parvo, bordetella, etc.), is current on flea/tick preventative medication, and has not been ill with any known contagious viruses in the last 30 days.

 I understand that while my dog is fully vaccinated, vaccines are not 100% fool proof and there is still a risk that my dog may contract a contagious virus/disease. I agree that should this occur I am responsible for my own pets care and medical attention.

I agree to allow a seven day waiting period after my dog has had his/her vaccinations to allow the vaccines to reach full protection potential and to ensure my dog has not had any negative reaction to the vaccines. Should I allow my dog to stay at Paws Next Door in a shorter than seven day wait period I understand that my dog could be at risk of contracting a contagious virus/disease.

I understand my dog will be evaluated and must deemed suitable for daycare/boarding by Paws Next Door staff. Although Paws Next Door carefully screens all applicants, dog daycare is not always an appropriate environment for every dog. I understand that Paws Next Door reserves the right to permanently remove my dog(s) from daycare at any time.

I affirm my dog is sociable and has not harmed or shown threatening behaviours towards any person or any other dogs.

I understand that should my dog display any unwanted behaviours while in the care of Paws Next Door staff will remove him/her from the play area.

I understand that although all dogs are fully supervised, incidents or injuries may occur. This could include, but is not limited to, bites, scrapes, and scratches, from his/her playmates.

I allow staff to contact my/a veterinarian as deemed necessary should any injuries require medical attention. I agree that I am responsible for any medical bills acquired for my own pet.

I agree to disclose any previous or current medical issues/concerns of my dog so that Paws Next Door staff can make a determination of suitability for daycare/boarding.

I release Paws Next Door from any liability should my dog injure another dog or person and accept medical and legal responsibility of my pet’s actions.

I understand and agree that PND is not responsible for any injury or damage from any cause whatsoever caused to or by my dog while he/she is under PND’s care; provided that PND has taken reasonable precautions to prevent such injury or damage, and I agree to indemnify PND, its owners, employees and servants from any loss, injury or damage they may suffer as a result of my dog or any damage to me or my family as result thereof.

By submitting my registration form and booking any services with Paws Next Door I certify that I have read and understand the agreement and waivers. I agree to abide by the regulations and accept all terms and conditions as set out.

General

All dogs over six (6) months old must be neutered or spayed (proof required if requested).

All dogs must have proof of up to date vaccinations including: distemper, parvovirus, bordetella, and rabies.

All dogs must participate in an evaluation prior to being approved for daycare visits. Evaluations are included in a free one-day trial visit.

Every dog must have a signed waiver and completed information package prior to being admitted to daycare.

Prices listed do not include GST. Services fees may apply depending on method of payment chosen.

Passes must be paid for up front and are non-refundable.

Holiday stays are not included in passes and must be purchased separately.

Holiday stays are subject to holiday hours.

All daycare visits must be book in advance via phone, text, email, or our website. Drop-in visits will be accommodated as able, however visits booked in advance will be given priority should there be capacity issues.

Late pickups are subject to additional fees. Late pickups are charged at $15.00 plus tax for the first five minutes, and $15.00 plus tax for every additional five minute window reached there-after. Pickups more than half an hour after close with no communication from the client will be subject to $90.00 overnight fee. Multiple late pickups may result in future visits being cancelled or subject to additional service fees.

Last-minute (less than 24 hours notice) cancellations are subject to the following: three cancellations/year with no penalty for illnesses/injury, and all cancellations after will be billed at a full day rate.

All grooming services are subject to each dog’s cooperation. If staff feel there is a concern for either themselves or the dog, owners will be contacted to discuss options moving forward.


Membership Specific

Memberships are non-refundable after the 15th of each month. Should your dog be unable or not allowed to continue visiting prior to the 15th, a refund will be issued based on the date the membership is cancelled.

Memberships much be paid on or prior to start date to qualify for full benefits.

Referral Program

Staff must be advised if you are sending a referral in, or your referral must tell staff your name prior to booking their evaluation day.

Referrals are counted as people who proceed past their evaluation day and purchase at least a one day pass. Clients who do not purchase any daycare services after their evaluation day will not be counted as a referral.
